Why I’m running.

Acton is worth protecting—and protecting it takes informed, persistent local representation.

Candidate for Acton Town Council

I’m running because Acton is worth protecting. Growth and change are inevitable, but they should never happen at the expense of the people who already call this community home.

What makes Acton different is worth preserving: our rural way of life, open land, equestrian and agricultural traditions, independent spirit, and neighbors who look out for one another. Responsible growth can have a place here, but it must fit our community and be supported by the roads, water, emergency access, and infrastructure it requires.

After more than 20 years working throughout Los Angeles County, I know how complicated County processes can be. I have worked with agencies, contractors, permits, project schedules, and the everyday obstacles that can keep good work from moving forward. I also know those systems can be navigated with preparation, persistence, and follow-through.

My experience with private fire protection has made emergency preparedness personal and practical. In a rural community, safe access, evacuation planning, water, and readiness are not talking points. They are responsibilities.

I want to put that experience to work for Acton—to ask direct questions, make sure residents hear about important decisions early, and hold County agencies accountable when our community needs answers. I’m not interested in making politics a career. I’m interested in doing the work and making sure Acton has a strong, practical voice.

I want to put my experience to work for Acton—protecting what makes this community special and making sure residents are heard.
